[11:04:42] <irc> <mortada> Hi, I am trying to install from a browser using yunohost.local.
[11:05:06] <irc> <mortada> after I define a password and click next
[11:05:14] <irc> <mortada> it will give an error
[11:05:19] <irc> <mortada> here is the log

[11:05:53] <irc> <mortada> hope someone can help, thanks
[11:39:33] <irc> <watson222> Good morning everybody
[11:43:05] <irc> <watson222> I'm having troubles with nextcloud. I mounted an external HDD at startup via /etc/fstab and added it as a local drive in the nextcloud admin panel. However, I cannot create, delete or change anything inside of that folder.
[11:43:27] <irc> <watson222> (btw I'm an absolute beginner)
[11:46:16] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> watson222: Hi! Have you seen this documentation page?
[11:46:16] <irc> <tituspijean[m]>
[11:46:55] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> Basically, since you have already mounted the drive, you should check that the directory for Nextcloud belongs to it : `ls -la /media/yourdrive`
[11:47:25] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> if not: `chown -R nextcloud:nextcloud /media/yourdrive`, assuming you want the whole drive for Nextcloud
[11:48:28] <irc> <watson222> thanks, I will quickly check that.
[11:49:58] <irc> <watson222> would it make sense to change the config to the mount location if I want to use the external HDD for all nextcloud files?
[11:51:16] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> Depending on the partition type, yes, you could set the user and group directly in `/etc/fstab`
[11:55:48] <irc> <watson222> I mean in the datadirectory of the nextcloud config.php . If I put the mount location there, would that automatically solve all permission errors?
[12:45:08] <irc> <gmilad> Bonjour tout le monde
[15:18:29] <irc> <uniquegch> I have to open a port in Yunohost for DLNA and NFS. how can I do that
[15:32:38] <Carlos Solís> Admin panel > Settings > Firewall > Open a port
[15:32:55] <Carlos Solís> BRB, checking the exact names in my server
[15:34:34] <Carlos Solís> Sorry, it's Admin panel > Tools > Firewall and on the end of the list you can add rules to open the ports
[15:36:47] <Carlos Solís> NFS typically uses port 2049 on TCP
[16:45:25] <irc> <ynhuser> Приветствую, как здесь зарегаться?
[16:46:10] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> ynhuser: What do you want to do?
[16:46:15] <irc> <ynhuser> А по русски можно?
[16:46:42] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> нет
[16:54:25] <irc>
[19:19:12] <irc> <stefanG20> hallo, der Dienst mysql startet nicht. Folgende Meldungen erhalte ich:

[19:47:49] <irc> <stefanG20> thanks
[19:54:37] <irc> <> good evening, is it possible a trustworthy user (not admin) to change nextcloud password for their own user account?
[19:59:19] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> @jurcheck: yes, if they are a YunoHost user too, they can change their password in the SSO portal
[20:02:24] <irc> <> ok, thx, i think on this. not exakt what i want but may be that is a way. many thx
[20:03:56] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> @jurcheck if they are not a YunoHost user, then it's a Nextcloud-related issue ;) You should check its documentation.
[20:45:00] <irc> <craniumslows> I'm having a bit of an odd problem, hoping maybe to at least have an idea of where to look. I have several applications installed and running with yuno host. It works well and reliably until NextCloud cronjob or a user interacts with NextCloud. Then the entire server shuts off. No error logs no warnings the entire ssytem powers off. I have 48 G
[20:45:01] <irc> <craniumslows> of Ram and 2 older xeon processors. Temperatures and everything sensor wise looks fine. It is so strange because it works well otherwise. Any ideas on how to narrow down further or somehow caputre more logs around nextcloud?
[20:46:00] <irc> <craniumslows> Only 1 user, there is a 3tb drive attached, and about 8,000 media files. Audio, Video, Ebooks and markdown files
[21:03:08] <irc> <craniumslows> I realize my ram is showing different than installed. I'll replace the module and come back
[21:03:25] <irc> <craniumslows> well figure out which module is not registering and then come back :D :D
