[08:30:58] <irc> <carrabelloy> Good Morning all her aim the chat
[08:34:24] <irc> <carrabelloy> Who knows about DNS because I still have errors and I don't understand that correctly, otherwise my server is already running and a donation entry has already been made. The whole system is really cool. Who developed this in mind with all the supporters is really great, thanks for that. Sorry mey english is bad. Hence translators

[08:38:34] <irc> <carrabelloy> rg/#/admindoc
[08:41:27] <irc> <carrabelloy> I just don't know how to improve the DNS settings on yuno. I haven't got behind that yet. Maybe that's because of my English too. So I would be happy if someone can help me a little. Thanks in advance.
[08:42:40] <irc> <jeroen[m]> what is your problem exactly?
[08:43:17] <irc> <jeroen[m]> <carrabelloy "I just don't know how to improve"> Do you host your own DNS?
[08:45:29] <irc> <carrabelloy> yes the domains are somewhere else because I have a lot and the server is also somewhere else. Correct your guess. Thanks for the support.
[08:47:20] <irc> <jeroen[m]> and what is not working exactly? The Diagnosis page shows what DNS problems there could be, you need to get that records (A, AAAA, MX, ...) into your DNS records...
[08:50:03] <irc> <carrabelloy> Yes, I read that too, but on the yunohost panel I still don't know where to put it. They are shown in the error analysis, but they cannot add an entry. Or I don't know where you can do it yet.
[08:51:56] <irc> <jeroen[m]> if your DNS is hosted elsewhere, it's logical that you can't enter the DNS records there. You need to go to your DNS server and make sure these DNS records match what yunohost is expecting
[08:57:53] <irc> <carrabelloy> So again I have the domains on another hoster. Or better with two different ones. Because, as I said, I have a lot of domains. The server received the entries from the two other domain hosts from both instances. So where yunohost is now installed on it. And who should I give something to, please? Since yunohost can only adhere to the specifications
[08:57:54] <irc> <carrabelloy> of what is entered in the DNS zone, speak on my server. Which even has three IP addresses. So I still don't understand that. Who or what exactly yunohost wants here
[09:02:43] <irc> <jeroen[m]> I think you don't understand the difference between domain providing and DNS hosting and I have difficulties to understand what your problem exactly is and what you want to achieve. Yunohost supports multidomains (see the Domains section in the Admin panel) and a server with multiple IP shouldn't be problem neither as long as these IP adresses are linked via the DNS records to your domain (A, AAAA, MX, ...)
[09:29:04] <irc> <carrabelloy> Okay jeroen thanks for your efforts. I think I made part of it. But I don't know exactly what the values are. Nevertheless, I still have a question on which port are the domains or the queries listening on? So is there a standard or does it differ from hoster to hoster. thank you for your support
[09:30:47] <irc> <jeroen[m]> DNS server port is standard and defined at port 53
[09:33:58] <irc> <carrabelloy> thanks
[17:51:46] <irc> <blablauteur> J'imaginais un dongle UsB-C ==> RJ-45 + USB pour fournir alimentation et réseau filaire au mobile.
