[06:11:03] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> <madpanda[m]1 "https://paste.yunohost.org/bixub"> Hey guys, my synapse server is not able to start after migrating to buster, worked like a charm before. what can i do about this?
[09:37:46] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> maybe yalh76, you know something about this since you also host a matrix server?
[10:13:05] <irc> <josue:tille.ch> You just need to upgrade synapse
[10:13:19] <irc> <josue:tille.ch> To fix the issue
[10:52:08] <irc> <valter> hello, i am upgrading to yunohost 4 and it gave the error "Migration 0015_migrate_to_buster did not complete, aborting. Error: You cannot do this right now because dpkg/APT (the system package managers) seems to be in a broken state… You can try to solve this issue by connecting through SSH and running `sudo apt install --fix-broken` and/or `sudo d
[10:52:08] <irc> <valter> pkg --configure -a`." and now is on "Installing new version of config file /etc/rspamd/scores.d/statistics_group.conf ..." and i think it stopped there
[10:52:17] <irc> <valter> shoul i wait?
[10:55:02] <irc> <valter> or should i run sudo apt install --fix-broken ?
[10:59:31] <irc> <Aleks[m]> yes, try to run `apt install --fix-broken`
[11:00:13] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> Aleks: didnt fix anything for me
[11:00:39] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> @josue how to upgrade? im already on latest version
[11:00:48] <irc> <Aleks[m]> i was answering valter ...
[11:01:01] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> xD ok, sorry for that Aleks
[11:03:07] <irc> <valter> well i did run apt install --fix-broken but then yunohost api was not responding and then i rebooted server
[11:03:53] <irc> <valter> now it is initializing, is it normal?
[11:04:49] <irc> <valter> i connected through ssh and i see that i'm in debian 10 an ynh 4
[11:05:26] <irc> <valter> with commands lsb_release -a and yunohost --version
[11:08:29] <irc> <Aleks[m]> "now it is initializing, is it normal?" what's "it" ?
[11:09:07] <irc> <Aleks[m]> but if lsb_release and yunohost --version say you're in debian 10 / ynh 4, that's a good sign i guess
[11:09:18] <irc> <valter> initializing when acessing webadmin
[11:11:14] <irc> <Aleks[m]> you mean loading ...?
[11:11:32] <irc> <valter> "Depending on your hardware and packages installed, the migration might take up to a few hours." should i wait then?
[11:11:59] <irc> <valter> yes with pacman animation
[11:12:15] <irc> <Aleks[m]> not really if you're on debian 10 + ynh4 it means it's done (and if you rebooted the server then any migration process got killed anyway)
[11:12:41] <irc> <Aleks[m]> can you try forcing the refresh of the browser cache just in case (Ctrl+Shift+R on Firefox)
[11:15:27] <irc> <valter> i rebooted server because the migration ended and getting yunohost-api was not responding
[11:15:47] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> valter:
[11:15:53] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> i had exactly the same behaviour
[11:16:20] <irc> <valter> i cannot enter webadmin but can enter mail and nextcloud
[11:16:36] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> hmm, reboot fixed it for me, sorry then
[11:17:51] <irc> <valter> i'll reboot again then
[11:22:01] <irc> <valter> rebooted and now i cannot even acess with ssh
[11:23:39] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> for me, through shellinabox it does not work, but direct ssh works
[11:23:54] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> i think this buster upgrade is absolutely not ready for release..
[11:30:06] <irc> <valter> its alive! :)
[11:45:09] <irc> <Aleks[m]> funny because some people said during the alpha "oh wow this is already perfectly stable" ...
[11:45:30] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> funny :D seems to be too inconsistent xD
[11:45:43] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> from 13 apps, after the update, 2 worked
[11:45:54] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> the rest somehow got fucked up during update
[11:46:36] <irc> <Aleks[m]> ¯_(ツ)_/¯
[11:46:43] <irc> <Aleks[m]> * ¯_(ツ)_/¯
[11:46:53] <irc> <Aleks[m]> * ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[11:47:32] <irc> <edoardo> Hi Aleks! Just got my Raspi4 and a bit confused on how to proceed with YNH Installation since there is no image yet. What steps should I follow? Is it even possible yet?
[11:48:00] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> initially i switched to ynh because it made everything easier, but after this update its one giant PITA ;)
[11:48:03] <irc> <madpanda[m]1> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[11:48:24] <irc> <Aleks[m]> edoardo: either use our preinstalled ~beta image which has a small issue with curl but somewhat ~easy to fix, or you can use a regular official Raspbian and install yunohost on top of it
[11:51:23] <irc> <edoardo> oki. How does the install on Raspbian work though? I don't see it as an option in the installation guide page. Shall I follow the Debian instructions?
[11:52:18] <irc> <Aleks[m]> edoardo: Manual install, at the bottom here https://yunohost.org/#/install_on_raspberry
[11:54:48] <irc> <edoardo> Yupp just got there! My bad. Thanks a lot. Will decide how to proceed and eventually get back if beta image gives problems
[13:07:06] <irc> <valter> noticed that funkwhale services failed to start
[13:20:17] <irc> <Aleks[m]> zblerg that's probably another case of that virtualenv thing
[13:21:56] <irc> <valter> how can i share logs here?
[13:23:14] <irc> <Aleks[m]> sent a long message: < https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/r0/download/matrix.org/bZxhVzIjcXXFVmDzJjPoxlpp/message.txt >
[13:23:35] <irc> <Aleks[m]> valter: to share logs, you can use paste.yunohost.org
[13:25:53] <irc> <valter> ok now how can i share the log with paste.yunohost.org?
[13:26:17] <irc> <valter> copy the url?
[13:26:51] <irc> <kidon[m]> yep
[13:27:05] <irc> <valter> https://paste.yunohost.org/enerocefop.lua
[13:27:28] <irc> <valter> its the funkwhale server process
[13:28:39] <irc> <valter> also funkwhale-beat and funkwhale worker are down
[13:29:39] <irc> <kidon[m]> > ImportError: No module named 'encodings'
[13:29:39] <irc> <kidon[m]> Is encodings in requirements.txt ?
[13:30:15] <irc> <valter> where's that file?
[13:30:37] <irc> <kidon[m]> > /var/www/funkwhale/code/api/requirements.txt
[13:33:57] <irc> <valter> # This file is here because many Platforms as a Service look for
[13:33:58] <irc> <valter> # requirements.txt in the root directory of a project.
[13:33:58] <irc> <valter> -r requirements/base.txt
[13:33:58] <irc> <valter> This file is here because many Platforms as a Service look for
[13:33:58] <irc> <valter> # requirements.txt in the root directory of a project. -r requirements/base.txt
[13:34:08] <irc> <valter> thats the contents of the file
[13:34:18] <irc> <valter> ups sorry
[13:36:18] <irc> <kidon[m]> did you already done the `pip install -r` lines that Aleks gave you ?
[13:37:12] <irc> <valter> oh didn't saw that
[13:37:19] <irc> <valter> i'll try then
[13:45:31] <irc> <valter> that solved the problem, many thanks aleks and kidon
[13:45:57] <irc> <Aleks[m]> \o/
[13:46:49] <irc> <valter> lutim also failed to start but its a non critical application
[13:47:04] <irc> <valter> i'll try to reinstall or uninstall
[13:48:33] <irc> <valter> i'm noticing that sogo service is up but i can't acess on interface
[13:49:06] <irc> <valter> with rainloop its allright
[13:52:35] <irc> <valter> tryed a different browser and works, maybe its chrome cache
[14:53:05] <irc> <algebrica_mrehqe:matrix.org> hi everyone
[14:53:21] <irc> <algebrica_mrehqe:matrix.org> there is a image for raspberry pi 4?
[14:54:07] <irc> <algebrica_mrehqe:matrix.org> or is possible manual install fron raspOs buster?
[15:01:23] <irc> <kidon[m]> > either use our preinstalled ~beta image which has a small issue with curl but somewhat ~easy to fix, or you can use a regular official Raspbian and install yunohost on top of it
[15:01:37] <irc> <kidon[m]> earlier today from Aleks
[15:01:46] <irc> <kidon[m]> Manual install, at the bottom here https://yunohost.org/#/install_on_raspberry
[15:01:48] <irc> <kidon[m]> :)
[15:23:09] <irc> <MayeulC> Slightly off-topic, but if someone has an idea, I wouldn't mind some help on this: I am putting a (ubiquiti edgerouter X) router behind my livebox, and I do not get IPv6 connectivity on my computer behind both routers. Maybe someone with more IPv6 experience can chime in, I think I do not quite understand how routing works in that world.
[15:23:09] <irc> <MayeulC> The livebox says it's getting a /56 address block, but despite what the admin interface says, it looks like it doesn't provide DHCPv6 and doesn't route something else than ::/64.
[15:23:09] <irc> <MayeulC> I tried a lot of things, but the best result I had was with SLAAC enabled on both WAN and LAN ports (same prefix), my router able to ping an external IP. I guess the livebox has no clue it has to send these packets to the ER-X.
[18:52:09] <irc> <edoardo> hi it's me again! I'm going with the manual install. I did everthing to allow ssh login for root, but when I connect I still see the dollar sign... is this ok? or is there a specific way to "reconnect as root"?
[18:54:44] <irc> <edoardo> I actuall get fail this script must be run as root..
[18:55:15] <irc> <kidon[m]> Can you type `whoami` and give the result ?
[18:56:43] <irc> <edoardo> result is pi
[20:24:29] <irc> <Toutoune> Bonsoir ! Il y a du monde en ce moment sur ce forum ?
[20:25:41] <irc> <Toutoune> j'imagine que c'est pas trop fréquent, surtout u mois d'août
[20:26:46] <irc> <edoardo> ok, finally got that I had to access with root@ and not pi@... newbie here
[20:27:18] <irc> <kidon[m]> No problem
[20:28:06] <irc> <kidon[m]> Toutoune, le chan n'est pas vide non, mais il faut parfois attendre pour avoir ta solution
