[02:32:45] <irc> <LPS:matrix.org> Anyone else having connection issues while using xmpp audio calls with VPN on mobile?
[10:21:29] <irc> <maranda:aria-net.org> Hullo
[10:21:30] <irc> <maranda:aria-net.org> > <@LPS:matrix.org> Anyone else having connection issues while using xmpp audio calls with VPN on mobile?

Elaborate VPN on mobile please
[10:21:31] <irc> <maranda:aria-net.org> *Is the server routed externally through a VPN connection* or *the client is connecting via some VPN service* or *insert description*, type of VPN and if you configured TURN/STUN.
[10:21:32] <irc> <maranda:aria-net.org> * *Is the server routed externally through a VPN connection* or *the client is connecting via some VPN service* or *insert description*, type of VPN (IKE? IKEv2?) and if you configured TURN/STUN.

[10:26:57] <irc> <yuno_404iso> Hello, I am wanting to install an x64 image of Yuno host but the link on here is 404ing - https://build.yunohost.org/yunohost-buster-4.0.3-amd64-stable.iso
[10:27:13] <irc> <yuno_404iso> From here - https://yunohost.org/#/images
[10:41:00] <irc> <M\__[m]> not sure if the images were released yet?
[10:41:13] <irc> <M\__[m]> but might be related to the release of those images, exactly
[10:43:25] <irc> <M\__[m]> same for https://build.yunohost.org/yunohost-buster-latest-amd64-stable.iso
[11:03:57] <irc> <Thatoo[m]> Now that Yunohost 4.0 is based on Debian buster and Wireguard is in the default Debian depot, it would be nice to have a nice interface for Wireguard as we have already for OpenVPN thanks to https://labriqueinter.net/ project (https://github.com/labriqueinternet/vpnclient_ynh).
[11:04:10] <irc> <Thatoo[m]> There is a discussion about it on the forum : https://forum.yunohost.org/t/wireguard-vpn-docker-gui/10174
[11:04:28] <irc> <Thatoo[m]> So happy to read about the release of Yunohost 4.0
[11:04:36] <irc> <Thatoo[m]> You're awesome!
[11:04:54] <irc> <Thatoo[m]> I'll migrate as soon as I come back from holidays
[11:07:47] <irc> <yuno_404iso> M\__[m] where can I get an image of Yunohost to test on my machine?
[11:30:15] <irc> <M\__[m]> wait until someone with access rights and the image locally to fix the 404
[11:31:32] <irc> <yuno_404iso> Is there no older releases, I tried searching the root directory but nothing. I really want to test this now as I am going away on vacation tomorrow :(
[11:33:30] <irc> <Aleks[m]> yuno_404iso: sorry, didn't realize that pushed the changes to the /images page
[11:33:37] <irc> <Aleks[m]> i fixed the 404 error
[11:33:54] <irc> <yuno_404iso> Thanks 🙏
[11:33:58] <irc> <Aleks[m]> but this is still a fresh build and I was aiming to validate them before actual release
[11:34:21] <irc> <yuno_404iso> Is there an older release e.g. 4.0.2..1..x?
[11:34:57] <irc> <Aleks[m]> there's an older release like 3.4 or 3.5 but ugh
[11:35:49] <irc> <yuno_404iso> Ok, I am happy to provide feedback if I see any bugs etc. Do you anticipate it not being stable?
[11:36:20] <irc> <Aleks[m]> i'm testing it right now, it's "just" a question of validating that the ISO does work as expected (especially the install)
[11:36:56] <irc> <Aleks[m]> should be done in 5-10ish minutes i think
[11:37:13] <irc> <yuno_404iso> Ok I will wait thanks
[11:38:39] <irc> <Aleks[m]> emeged luk at teh tiem
[11:38:47] <irc> <Aleks[m]> its cofe oclock o/ !
[11:46:03] <irc> <Aleks[m]> yuno_404iso: so apparently that works o/
[11:48:32] <irc> <yuno_404iso> thanks, gonna install now
[12:39:48] <irc> <maranda:aria-net.org> .
[13:48:25] <irc> <Doc-Saintly> Strange, I couldn't join the XMPP support bridge.
[13:48:39] <irc> <Doc-Saintly> Are there any plans for the custom web app? https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/my_webapp_ynh , it seems both of them are un-maintained now.
[13:50:51] <irc> <Doc-Saintly> Also, does anyone have a guide for how to run dotnet as an app in YNH? Do I have to do it all manually by creating a service for it and doing a virtual host redirect to that port? Or is there something more web-based I can use?
[16:06:27] <irc> <ynhuser|19878> Hello, is there any documentation on tuning Yunohost for a lower specification of PC (Intel Celeron, 4Gb Ram, 80Gb SSD)? Since I installed Yunohost today, the cooling fan has been going nonstop
[16:06:51] <irc> <ynhuser|19878> I only want to use Nextcloud and Picture backups
[16:12:16] <irc> <pucilpet> If you want to use just a single application, maybe yunohost is not the right option for you. :)
[16:13:03] <irc> <pucilpet> I think you could install nextcloud on a docker container which would be less stressful on your Hardware
[16:28:03] <irc> <ynhuser|19878> dude, Nextcloud is too hard to configure by itself on debian, and a docker container would have too much resources :)
[16:48:04] <irc> <pucilpet> I see. :)
[16:48:26] <irc> <pucilpet> Just an idea, sorry I havent much experience with lowend hw and ynh
[16:51:40] <irc> <Aleks[m]> ynhuser|19878: dunno what we can do, 4GB or RAM sounds pretty good, but intel celeron are a bit cheap I guess
[16:52:02] <irc> <Aleks[m]> but probably not that bad compared to some ARM board
[16:52:33] <irc> <Aleks[m]> so idk i would look at what top/htop say in terms of CPU usage (maybe there's process eating all the cpu for some reason) and see what can be done
[16:52:52] <irc> <Aleks[m]> e.g. if for some reason you imported a bunch of images maybe it's computing thousands of thumbnail idk
[17:00:06] <irc> <ynhuser|19878> apologies, htop is showing 5% CPU usage, and 23% RAM. Its just my CPU fan is going quite fast at 43C which is cool for an Intel CPU processor, I thought they can tolerate higher temps? Is there anyway on debian to tweak the fan remotely?
[17:04:08] <irc> <ynhuser|19878> Thanks for the advice though :)
[17:05:40] <irc> <ynhuser|19878> One more question, I have a 4TB USB 3 HDD and a 275Gb SSD (OS) - I installed Yunohost with LVM, does this mean it will treat the external HDD as a new volume, or will it treat it as one big volume?
[17:11:35] <irc> <Aleks[m]> uuuuuh no idea, naively I think it would take the external HDD as an independant volume .... but then LVM is able to do some epic black magic when it comes to partitionning and maybe there are some tweaks to configure things to have 1 partition across several volumes at the same time
[17:12:08] <irc> <Aleks[m]> but i have no real expertise about LVM
[19:49:45] <irc> <ynhuser|33005> bonjour à tous, je voudrai installer rutorrent sur yunohost, existe t il une solution simple
