[05:28:03] <irc> <ynhuser|44729> Hello:)
[05:29:42] <irc> <ynhuser|44729> I have now setup that yunohost is on main site example.com is it possible to move it to host.example.com without reinstalling?
[05:41:23] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> Hi, yes. Add the new domain is YNH, go back in the Domains menu, open the new domain, and there should be the option to make it the main one.
[05:41:36] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> *in YNH
[06:03:34] <irc> <JuhaAutero[m]> Isn't it just adding the new domain in administrator interface, setting it as primary and then removing old one? And updating dns records.
[06:07:07] <irc> <JuhaAutero[m]> It's actually called default domain, not primary.
[15:45:52] <irc> <MoHo> Any way to remove this line from every webapp page?
[15:45:55] <irc> <MoHo> `<script type="text/javascript" src="/ynh_portal.js"></script><link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/ynh_overlay.css"></link><script type="text/javascript" src="/ynhtheme/custom_portal.js"></script><link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/ynhtheme/custom_overlay.css"></link></head>`
[15:49:04] <irc> <pucilpet> well this is a hacky way and will probably be removed if you update yunohost but you can always change this file:
[15:49:05] <irc> <pucilpet> /etc/nginx/conf.d/yunohost_panel.conf.inc
[15:50:18] <irc> <MoHo> What am I supposed to do there?
[15:50:42] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/d99a640802e9178f17418e4de222b9af/image.png
[15:54:35] <irc> <pucilpet> remove 4 first lines
[15:55:00] <irc> <pucilpet> then sudo service nginx restart and it should disappear from all the apps
[15:55:17] <irc> <pucilpet> or you can remove 3 first lines
[15:55:18] <irc> <pucilpet> doesn't really matter
[16:02:03] <irc> <MoHo> `Job for nginx.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
[16:02:04] <irc> <MoHo> See "systemctl status nginx.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.`
[16:02:09] <irc> <MoHo> This is what happens when doing a restart
[16:02:09] <irc> <tituspijean[m]> MoHo: Comment everything out with a #
[16:04:03] <irc> <pucilpet> how does your conf.inc file look now?
[16:05:16] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/c502b0213365aae3babea8879674f964/image.png
[16:05:54] <irc> <pucilpet> comment the last line, too
[16:06:02] <irc> <pucilpet> with the }
[16:06:41] <irc> <MoHo> Did that
[16:07:00] <irc> <MoHo> Can't restart nginx
[16:13:13] <irc> <pucilpet> that's curious. maybe the error is related to something else. sudo systemctl status nginx.service would be helpful
[16:27:16] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/29be800a4457c91df7d30c58d13bb2c2/pasted.txt
[16:27:38] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/f42386ea8c879cbb41e8b7debfbbc7f8/image.png
[16:29:49] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/62fa30095e913dd6b42f040f0f83face/image.png
[16:36:39] <irc> <pucilpet> still there is the unexpected } error in your log
[16:37:38] <irc> <pucilpet> are you sure it's commented with # in the yunohost_panel.conf.inc
[16:40:12] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/b2f8a0d67f94ec0a57b2d4c9da0b77f4/image.png
[16:46:54] <irc> <pucilpet> did you change something in the /etc/nginx/nginx.conf file?
[16:49:02] <irc> <MoHo> I changed something on one app
[16:49:17] <irc> <pucilpet> that might be the reason why it's not starting up
[16:49:34] <irc> <pucilpet> if you didn't restart nginx earlier, the error would not have shown up then
[16:49:44] <irc> <MoHo> Tried removing the app and can't
[16:50:06] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/3c70aead13d67b96a57e42e09cbdcab8/image.png
[16:51:10] <irc> <pucilpet> the problem is with trouble_site.d/my_webapp.conf line 45
[16:55:33] <irc> <MoHo> fixed that and still getting that I can't reload
[16:56:36] <irc> <pucilpet> Aleks: would probably be better equipped to assist you with troubleshooting
[16:57:36] <irc> <MoHo> I remember there is a command to fix nginx on yunohost or it just fixes all default files, something like that
[17:11:49] <irc> <MoHo> Uploaded file: https://uploads.kiwiirc.com/files/0b5a1ec9151d90232bc7d4fda4a02b74/image.png
[17:12:01] <irc> <MoHo> Wish me good luck :)
[17:17:22] <irc> <MoHo> Fixed it :)
[17:18:00] <irc> <MoHo> Thank! Will try now commenting the etc/nginx/conf.d/yunohost_panel.conf.inc
[17:25:19] <irc> <MoHo> All is good now! Thank you!!
[18:21:11] <irc> <pucilpet> Great "MoHo" (https://matrix.to/#/@freenode_MoHo:matrix.org)
[19:58:31] <irc> <ynhuser|34845> Hi there
[19:59:16] <irc> <ynhuser|34845> Got an error upgrading roundcube app, with the message Warning: PHP Warning: proc_open(): fork failed - Cannot allocate memory in phar:///var/www/roundcube/composer.phar/vendor/symfony/console/Application.php on line 952
[19:59:23] <irc> <ynhuser|34845> any idea ?
[21:21:20] <irc> <jaybeanstalk> Hey, so the process for setting up yunohost on a virtual machine says it is usually for testing. If i have a computer that I am using just for hosting various things, but isn't debian is it a bad idea to run yunohost on it with a vm?
[21:48:45] <irc> <Aleks[m]> jaybeanstalk: a VM inside a regular desktop computer (e.g. with virtualbox) is just not practical because 1) desktop computer are usually not up 24/7 2) you need to configure port forwarding on your router *and* in virtualbox which is a pain
[21:49:23] <irc> <Aleks[m]> nevertheless it's doable, but 99% of the time it's not relevant for production use
