[06:04:17] <irc> <Niknak1> Hi folks. Fairly new to Yunohost, but fairly technical all around... looking for a nudge in the right direction. How do I make it so that whether a user accesses my domain via http://, https:// or www that it uses a certificate and directs to the same page/installation? (tldr; i want it to function the same without and with www added to the web
[06:04:17] <irc> <Niknak1> address)
[06:07:28] <irc> <Niknak1> Appreciate any assistance
[10:25:23] <irc> <foobar|63969> hi there! I'm looking to use FirewallD on my Yunhost server. As far as I know it works well with fail2ban. Is it safe to use FirewallD on current Yunohost?
[10:25:27] <irc> <foobar|63969> (What about next gen Yunhost?)
[12:27:31] <rouky> Niknak1 for the first part, the default nginx configuration of Yunohost rewrites all http requests to https
[12:31:49] <rouky> For the second one, it's mostly a DNS setting. Yunohost can handle several domains, but an app is attached to a domain. So if you want the same yunohost apps whether the users type www before or not, you need to add an A record for the main domain and a CNAME for the secondary one to your DNS configuration. If you want different apps depending on www or not, you need to A records that point to the same IP, and set up 2 domains in yunohost
[12:31:53] <rouky> Hope it's clear
[12:54:10] <irc> <foobar|63969> hi there! I'm looking to use FirewallD on my Yunhost server. As far as I know it works well with fail2ban. Is it safe to use FirewallD on current Yunohost?
[13:01:41] <irc> <foobar|63969> nobody?
[13:48:48] <rouky> foobar|63969 no idea
[13:48:58] <rouky> What do you intend to do?
[17:11:28] <irc> <humanplus:synapse.privacy.tk> Is YunoHost ready for Debian 10 ?
[17:12:36] <rouky> Not yet
[17:12:58] <irc> <kayou[m]> Not yet
[17:13:28] <irc> <humanplus:synapse.privacy.tk> Thanks.
