[16:54:39] <irc> <DorianZD> hey all
[16:54:52] <irc> <DorianZD> anyone experience with contabo & yunohost?
[16:56:58] <irc> <DorianZD> Im having issues with letsencrypt
[17:11:08] <irc> <Aleks_> don't ask to ask, just ask dude
[17:32:33] <irc> <Pti-Jean> Bonsoir
[17:38:18] <irc> <realitygaps> DorianZD: letsencrypt has a problem now
[17:38:19] <irc> <realitygaps> their apis are down
[17:38:21] <irc> <realitygaps> so maybe retry later
[17:39:02] <irc> <realitygaps>
[17:40:06] <irc> <pti-jean_> Bonsoir
[17:53:09] <irc> <taziden> tu as pris l'image yunohost ?
[17:53:13] <irc> <pti-jean_> oui la raspbian
[17:53:22] <irc> <pti-jean_> oui
[17:53:45] <irc> <pti-jean_> ici:
[18:17:40] <irc> <taziden> Merci !
[19:21:39] <irc> <foobar|82368> Hey ! Is Spip app officially not working ? I've a bad gateway on it ! Merci !
[19:35:54] <irc> <realitygaps> letsencrypt is back up btw
[20:17:15] <irc> <> I just got a message "could not change directory to '/home/yunohost.backup/tmp/20191117-200036/apps/synapse/backup': Permission denied" during a backup from the web interference.

Should I be concerned?
[20:32:12] <irc> <Aleks_> weeelll did it totally crash the backup process ? or did it continue ?
[20:32:35] <irc> <Aleks_> i suppose that's weird and shouldnt happen ...?
[20:58:06] <irc> <> Hello! Im having problems with dns resolving on a fresh install of debian (vps) after installing yunohost , anybody ever experienced this? I know for sure it was working before the install, as I was able to install it with curl
[21:03:41] <irc> <Aleks_> please just give some error message or log ... we can't help you without this
[21:04:05] <irc> <Aleks_> ...
[21:06:31] <irc> <> Yes, but in not even sure what logs would be useful in this case haha
The error messages are just the usual, for instance in a git clone i get: "fatal: unable to access '': Could not resolve host:"
[21:07:52] <irc> <> if I try to ping something by IP address, it works fine
[21:31:07] <irc> <Aleks_> at least if you give us the error message it allows us to validate that you are not misinterpreting something so we can move on to the next step of debugging ...
[21:31:20] <irc> <Aleks_> can you validate that you have showing up doing a "cat /etc/resolv.conf" ?
[21:34:50] <irc> <> yes:
[21:35:28] <irc> <Aleks_> alright, and then if you try to "dig +short @", does that work ?
[21:37:16] <irc> <> it does (
[21:39:50] <irc> <Aleks_> but if you do it without the @ it doesnt?
[21:40:20] <irc> <Aleks_> can you check that dnsmasq is running using "systemctl status dnsmasq" ?
[21:41:20] <irc> <> No, it returns a connection timed out

[21:42:21] <irc> <> It is running, however, I tried this half an hour ago and I was getting a "Failed to restart dnsmaq.service: Unit dnsmaq.service not found."
[21:42:49] <irc> <Aleks_> because it's called dnsmasq, not dnsmaq
[21:43:18] <irc> <Aleks_> so what about "cat /etc/resolv.dnsmasq.conf", is it showing up a bunch of uncommented nameserver's ?
[21:44:16] <irc> <> Good point haha sorry
[21:44:24] <irc> <> Yes, all of them uncommented
[21:45:13] <irc> <Aleks_> hmokay
[21:45:28] <irc> <Aleks_> and if you pick one ip and use it as a replacement for in the previous dig comment, does that work ?
[21:47:28] <irc> <> No
[21:47:34] <irc> <> I tried like 5 of them
[21:47:41] <irc> <> worth trying all?
[21:47:50] <irc> <Aleks_> nah
[21:47:57] <irc> <Aleks_> soooo let's see ...
[21:48:01] <irc> <Aleks_> what about ?
[21:48:07] <irc> <Aleks_> ooooor
[21:48:53] <irc> <> worked, didnt
[21:49:56] <irc> <> wait
[21:50:27] <irc> <> I restarted dnsmasq service (now with the right name)
[21:50:29] <irc> <> now its working
[21:50:46] <irc> <> dig +short
[21:51:07] <irc> <Aleks_> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[21:51:14] <irc> <Aleks_> as we say: all computes are broken
[21:51:38] <irc> <> hahah
[21:51:43] <irc> <> anyway
[21:51:44] <irc> <> thanks!
