[05:22:09] <irc> <Pierre0412> salut :)
[09:43:38] <irc> <isAAAc> o/
[11:47:11] <irc> <Aleks_> o/
[12:28:39] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> good morning... i'm still fighting reverse proxy stuff (lol?) i think the problem now is the root directory on Yunohost machine... i think on my other machine i need to tell it where exactly to serve files from YH machine...
[12:28:47] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> currently i have it pointing to root, I guess, with / <--
[12:29:08] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> should i do something different like /var/www something or leave it as /? thanks!
[12:30:04] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> this is my current setup:
[12:30:11] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> ProxyPass / https://192.168.1.37:443/
[12:30:14] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> ProxyPassReverse / https://192.168.1.37:443/
[12:31:13] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> sorry, this is apache2 config pointing to Yunhost box... just to be clear
[12:47:54] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> well.. i'm close! i just pointed it to var/www/html and now i can see the default debian page so i'm right.. i just need to find path where YH is...
[14:50:39] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> does lets encrypt cert work for the email too?
[14:52:06] <irc> <Aleks_> yes
[15:42:49] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> ah.... thanks
[16:28:01] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> great!. email back and i learned something new ;)
[16:28:11] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> now... i must continue my reverse proxy battle :(
[16:30:10] <irc> <isAAAc> ^^
[16:30:49] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> i like that AAA in your handle! HA
[17:47:54] <irc> <MayeulC> It doesn't work great though. I moved my server name to services.mayeul.net since I would like to host something on the top-level domain later, and would like to use that services.mayeul.net page as the app menu. I have a LE certificate for both domains, of course, but when connecting a mail client to mayeul.net or mail.mayeul.net, yunohost insists on presenting the one for services.mayeul.net.
[20:58:30] <irc> <foobar|88677> Hey, I'm having trouble connecting to my raspberry pi B through SSH, for a YunoHost installation.
[20:59:47] <irc> <foobar|88677> I cannot login as root/admin with modified setting in /etc/ssh/sshd_config "PermitRootLogin yes"
[21:03:32] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> hmm! this seems very close to my problem...
[21:04:12] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> my mail is just fine and seems to be using the email ports and Yuno LE cert and all good. However
[21:04:57] <irc> <wayneoutthere[m]> for the 443 and 80 stuff, it's fighting my Nextcloudpi box which I can't take down. I' have apache (in that box) trying to point to my yuno host box by domain name... not sure still why it's not working. it finds the box but 'misconfiguration'.
[21:06:49] <irc> <MayeulC> If your mail client complains about a wrong cert, click on "display the cert" or whatever, see what domain the cert is for, and use that domain in your mail client.
[21:07:24] <irc> <MayeulC> It's a bit sad I have to use "services.mayeul.net" instead of "mail.mayeul.net", but that's life.
[21:08:54] <irc> <MayeulC> I also wanted to improve that part of yunohost/contribute a new interface if I ever get some time to do so :)
[21:09:17] <irc> <MayeulC> Ah, you might have trouble obtaining a let's encrypt cert with yunohost if your host doesn't have 80/443 forwarded, I think.
[21:10:56] <irc> <MayeulC> (You could pick a box: your pi or yunohost computer to forward those ports to, and install a reverse proxy to forward traffic to the other host depending on the address)
