<babuguus> i'm curious, i'm learning about webxdc just now. do you need a specific client to use it?
[21:09:56]
<RGB keyboard> Yeah you should use Cheogram or Monocles
[21:10:03]
<RGB keyboard> Others no support
[21:10:37]
<babuguus[m]> i think delta chat has support, is delta chat its own thing, or can i use matrix through it?
[21:10:54]
<babuguus> suddenly on my other account lol
[21:15:10]
<wgreenhouse> delta chat is an email client, basically; neither matrix nor smtp
[21:15:17]
<wgreenhouse> er neither matrix not xmpp
[21:15:22]
<wgreenhouse> imap/smtp it is :P
[21:18:09]
<babuguus> oh, cheogram and monocles are mobile apps
[21:18:21]
<babuguus> i've been using conversations, hmm
[21:18:25]
<babuguus> i haven't explored mobile clients that deeply yet
[21:24:20]
<RGB keyboard> These three are the only apps worth using on mobile imo
[21:24:43]
<RGB keyboard> Cheogram and Monocles are based on Conversations' code anyways
[21:24:49]
<RGB keyboard> Just adding more features
[22:19:18]
<HONK> Conversations all the way down
[22:21:39]
<HONK> We get all the shit for "XMPP doesn't have good client choices"
Matrix homies have Element, ElementX and Fluffychat. Only one of them does livekit and video calls, and one of them doesn't do them at all, and the other isn't compatible with the same (type of) calls the other _is_.
Seems kinda _shit_
[22:22:21]
<HONK> just sayin boys the pot be pissin on the kettle SO HARD
